AMC Engineering, PLLC was organized in 2000 to meet the demand for quality environmental and engineering services without requiring clients to retain a large engineering firm. Our work is tailored to each client's needs, with dedicated, personalized attention from scope through closeout. AMC is based in Astoria, Queens, and serves clients throughout New York City, Long Island, and Westchester.
AMC is certified as an MBE separately with each of the following agencies:
AMC holds a Certificate of Authorization to provide professional engineering services in New York State. All design work and remedial certifications are overseen by a New York State–licensed Professional Engineer.
40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response certification, refreshed annually.
30-hour OSHA Construction Safety certification for all field and engineering staff.
NYSDEC-endorsed 4-hour Sediment and Erosion Control training, qualifying staff to conduct SWPPP inspections and design.
Analytical testing is performed through ELAP-certified laboratories, selected on a project-specific basis.
AMC-supported projects have received eight Big Apple Brownfield Awards between 2009 and 2016, recognizing brownfield redevelopment work under the NYS Brownfield Cleanup Program and NYC E-Designation Program.
